CD/Download – Be with Me Lord
This is a link to my CD that has a bunch of songs I’ve written for congregational singing, including some of the most popular ones like Be with Me Lord, I Need Your Love, Great Among the Nations, and Go and Make Disciples. It’s got new ones like Home in Heaven, Lead Me to the Rock, and Praise the Lord O My Soul. Also included are a couple by my friend Geoff Fawcett and a few classic hymns I’ve made my own.

Hi Brian!
I bought your cd on ILC in Denver – thanks for producing so great songs and making effort to put them on Cd-s!
And thanks for leading the worship in Denver!!
I have also one question – wolud it be possible to get the lyrics of “Remember” somewhere? I so much like the song (and sing along in home when nobody is listening
), but English is not my native language .. so it’s kind of hard.
Thanks for your reply in advance!
Just keep doing the thing you are so great at – it builds up!!
With greetings from Estonia,
Triin Leesmann

Hey bro – thanks for your encouragement! What a great time in Denver, wasn’t it! I’m glad you like that song. Here are the words. I plan to add a lyrics folder to the blog with a bunch of lyrics but haven’t had the chance to do that yet!
Remember when he called your name.
Remember where you started from.
Remember all you overcame.
Remember how through him you won.
You wanted to know all it was
To see him, to be him.
You realized that you were lost
without him, you found him.
You saw the way you never could
repay him, today is the day
to take time just to…
Remember, remember.
Remember what you’re doing this for.
Remember, remember.
Remember why he is your Lord.
Remember who you were before.
Remember where your sorrows led.
Remember sin had promised more,
Remember hopelessness instead.
Instead of pleasure filling you,
it killed you, and still you were
left with only emptiness
inside you, to hide you would
fill your time with other things,
yet still knew there had to more.
And then you found him…
Remember seeing what to do,
Remember eyes were open wide.
Remember every day was new.
Remember learning like a child.
A child, you hungered for each lesson
you learned and in turn
you passed along each morsel to
another, your brother.
You tasted that the Lord was good
–he filled you, now don’t you forget
your first love, got to…
Remember what the future holds.
Remember dreams you had in youth.
Remember all the Spirit told.
Remember promises of fruit.
Fruit that’s guaranteed if you stay
with him, and in him.
Tomorrow holds the dreams
that God inspires; still higher
his power leads from strength to strength
and victory to victory again.
And heaven’s waiting…

Sorry for not commenting back sooner! That sounds like a great use for the song. Unfortunately after I put the CD together, my tape machine broke. So although it was my original plan to make back up recordings available I lost access to my original recordings. I still plan to eventually put something together so I can let you know when I have something.

Hi there, Brian, my name is Jorge Bittencourt and I’m the non full-time leader of the church in Brasilia, Brazil’s capital. First, thanks for all the songs you’ve written all these years, they’ve helped me connect to God. We’re adding new songs to our service worship, and I was wondering if you sell playbacks for the songs you’ve written. Our church is small and we currently have no one playing instruments, so we use playbacks. Would we be able to translate the lyrics to Portuguese? Some of your songs would be great help to us. Look forward to hearing from you. Love, your brother Jorge

As I mentioned in the last comment – I lost access to my original recordings from this album. I’m in progress of working on a new worship album and will definitely have back up tracks for those songs. I’ll let you know when that material is available. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words! Oh, and definitely translation into Portuguese would be awesome!

Thanks, Brian. I definitely feel you have encouraged me (and my wife, she’s telling me now) through your music far, far more than my few words. I’d appreciate it if you could keep us posted about those backing tracks for your new album or for any other songs, old or new. Thanks again Jorge

Hi Brian, sorry to bother you again, but while we’re on the subject of backing tracks…
I have the Be still my soul CD (co-produced by Kevin Darby) and would like to use the last song on the CD – God is the strength of the church – at a campus conference for the South Cone South American churches that will be hosted coming July by the church here in Brasilia.
Do you have Kevin Darby’s contact (email or phone) so that I could ask him permission to translate that song and use it at the conference, and also if he has the back up track for that?
Thanks a lot
Jorge

Brian, just a quick update: managed to get in contact with Kevin Darby and he’s already made available that back-up track. Thanks.

Greetings Brian!
I hope all is well with you! I just had to write you and share the great news of the impact your musicis making in our island in the Caribbean.
My wife (Romania) & I met you during our first WLC in Chicago two years ago! There I picked up a copy of your CD – because your songs have been a great source of encouragement for our tiny island church in the Caribbean (St. Vincent & The Grenadines).
Since that conference in 2007, our church (about 30 members) has been inspired to “put ourselves out there” to bring glory to God through the arts! That year, and every year since, we’ve entered the local “Gospel Festival”. In the first year, our “All-church” choir (LOL) won a National Gold Award for Best Choir, and other individual gold medals for Drama (Poetry), and last year a gold medal and National award for excellence for best Monologue!
This year – God has continued to bless us, through the use of Kingdom Music. This past weekend, our Song Ministry was asked to perform our “Caribbean Version”
of one of our favorites ever – “Be With Me Lord”, in front of a few thousand at the National Gospel Festival Showcase! We were awarded two Gold Medals for “Be With Me Lord”, and”Be Strong, Take Heart”, along with another gold medal for Monologue this year.
God has truly been with us, as we seek to glorify Him name by using our talents, in spite of the challenging times we face as a nation. I have personally been encouraging our churches in the region, to take up the challenge to write those new songs, that speak to our own experiences in God’s Kingdom, from a Caribbean perspective – with a goal to share them among the churches, and help to support the growth of our music minitries worldwide!
Brother – you are a great inspiration for many of us worship leaders from many parts of the world – please keep living out discipleship to Jesus in your own life, and sharing through your songs!
As a Ministry, we are praying that a few of us will be able to attend the WLC in September! It will not be possible without significant support – so please pray for us! Prayfully, we will be able to fellowship once again in Miami!
There’s so much more to share – but maybe I should send you an email, instead of through this website!
In Christ

THanks so much for your message, Richard – sorry to not reply sooner. It is really encouraging to see how you are using music and worship to build the church there in the Caribbean. I will definitely pass along the story of what you guys are doing. God bless!

Hello Brian,
Is there any chance you’d be willing to respond with the chords for “Be With Me, Lord?” I’m trying to learn to play it on the ukulele.
Thanks!
Kristen

Yeah, there are recordings and chord charts here:
http://jbriancraig.wordpress.com/2009/06/02/be-with-me-lord/
Basically I usually start in the key of E
E E / A B / E E / A B
Then I hit a D chord and move to G for the last verse
G G / C D / G G / C D
on the Ukulele you could just play it in whatever key is comfortable for you

Hello Brian,
I’m a christian from the Jacksonville Church of Christ. I stumbled upon your site while I was looking for chords to some songs from the DPI song book. I have to say that I found more than I asked for. Thank you very much for using your gift in the way you have. God bless you.
