Send Me Out

Hey guys – I’m sticking to posting something new every Monday, even if it’s a little chaotic to get it done (as you’ll see towards the end of the video below).

Just got back from the Southwest Conference – an incredible time with about seven thousand people worshipping God together for the weekend down in San Diego.  It was amazing and inspiring.  Our theme was “Proclaim the Lord’s Favor”.  In preparing the music for the conference, I thought this song that Jay Minor introduced at our youth and teen camps this summer would make a perfect “theme song” for us.  It’s called “Send Me Out”.  It’s by the band Fee.  Lyrics and chord charts are below. I’ve had a lot of folks inquire about it, so here it is.

As you see in the video, I play it with a capo, so I’d be playing the A in G position (so transpose everything down a step – play the F#min as E min, etc). I think it would work fine w/out capo too. I started with the capo cause we were originally doing it in Bb – I think that is what the recording is. We moved it down just a bit so it wasn’t too high for everyone to sing along.
